Q. How many lessons do I need to have before I can take my drivng test?A. That depends very much on the individual. Some people adapt to driving quickly and could possibly be ready in as little as 20 hours of professional tuition. Some on the other hand struggle with the complexity of driving and take many more. The average is around 40 hours according to the DSA (Driving Standards Agency)Q. Why did my parents only have 15 driving lessons? A. Its a different world in 2007 to that of 1985. The roads are far more crowded. You've got a lot more to cope with. Its not easy - dont believe anyone that says it is. Q. When can i take my test then. A. When you can prove you've learned the fundamental principles of driving ie. road understanding and car control.Q. How frequently should I take lessons?A. Depends on how quick you want to pass of course. Generally 2 lessons a week is recommended. Q. What is an intensive course like?A. Generally an intensive course is taken by people who want to pass in a hurry. Many drive for many hours at a time to achieve this goal. We are flexible and tailor the course to your specific requirements and ability. Please bear in mind that it can be quite stressful learning to drive in a short space of time so if you are considering one of these courses give yourself no more than 3 hours driving at any one time.
